The position of the wire drum has a direct influence on the length of the liner and therefore on the quality of the wire feed. If the liner is too long or too short, this can lead to wire loops, burnback or irregular feeding.

For systems with a total distance of more than 7 meters between the wire drum and the torch, we recommend using a feed assistant such as the Maxiglide to ensure constant wire feeding.
